Andocksysteme will be at Pharmaconex 2026, September 1 to 3 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo, represented by NOVA Engineering at booth H4.H10. This is Andocksysteme’s first participation at Pharmaconex and the debut of the NOVA partnership, Andocksysteme’s dedicated technical representative for Egypt, North Africa, and the Middle East.

The full Andocksysteme containment portfolio will be covered at the booth: the ASBV multi-use split butterfly valve (MUT) and the AVAX single-use split butterfly valve (SUT). Both systems are designed for contained powder transfer in pharmaceutical and fine chemical manufacturing, validated to Occupational Exposure Limit (OEL) <1.0 µg/m³ by SMEPAC testing (ISPE standardized surrogate powder test). Process specifications can be reviewed and discussed on site.

What is Pharmaconex and why is Andocksysteme there?

Pharmaconex is Africa’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturing exhibition. The 2026 edition brings together over 350 exhibitors and 13,500 attendees from more than 40 countries at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo. The program spans nine pharmaceutical sectors, including Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), biopharmaceuticals, machinery, cleanrooms, and contract manufacturing.

Andocksysteme’s ASBV split butterfly valve achieves OEL <1.0 µg/m³ per ISPE SMEPAC testing, independently verified by third-party laboratories. FDA, EMA, and MHRA inspectors request this containment performance level as primary evidence during facility qualification audits. Through the NOVA partnership, validated technology is now accessible to pharmaceutical manufacturers across Egypt, North Africa, and the Middle East with local technical representation for the first time.

Frequently asked questions

  1. What containment solutions will be available to discuss at Pharmaconex 2026?
The full Andocksysteme portfolio is covered at booth H4.H10: the ASBV multi-use split butterfly valve (DN50 to DN300, tested per ISPE SMEPAC protocol, ATEX Zone 20/21 configurations available) and the AVAX single-use split butterfly valve (FDA CFR Title 21, USP Class VI, and ISO 10993-5 certified). Both systems achieve OEL <1.0 µg/m³ per ISPE SMEPAC testing. Questions on sizing, application fit, and qualification documentation packages can be addressed directly on site.
  2. Is local technical support available for containment projects in Egypt and the Middle East?
NOVA Engineering handles technical inquiries, specification reviews, and after-sales support for Egypt, North Africa, and the Middle East. NOVA is based in New Cairo and operates with direct access to Andocksysteme’s engineering team in Germany for complex technical requirements.
  3. Do Andocksysteme containment systems carry the documentation required for GMP pharmaceutical facilities?
Both the ASBV and AVAX are designed for GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Qualification documentation (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) is available for each unit, with material certificates per FDA CFR 21 and EN 10204/3.1. SMEPAC test data is accepted by FDA, EMA, and MHRA as primary containment performance evidence during facility qualification audits.
